We have come to the difficult decision of canceling CMAX-NE for this year.
Like many other events, CMAX-NE has fallen victim to the current downturn
in the economy. Many potential attendees were unable to participate as a
result and registrations for this year's event were far below what would
be practical and worthwhile. We just did not get enough registrations to
justify having the event.
We are considering the possibility of an event in the spring. We will be
sure to let you know if that becomes a reality.
Everyone who has already registered will receive a full refund.
The Foundation for American and Chinese Cultural Exchange, Inc is sponsoring CMAX-NE 2009, which will be held on October 3, 2009 at the South Windsor High School, 161 Nevers Road, South Windsor, CT 06074. (map)
The Chinese Martial Arts Expo - New England (CMAX-NE) is one of the premiere non-competitive educational events in the northeastern United States. The days events will include seminars, a Masters performance, and optional lunch and Chinese Banquet. The Banquet will be held at the Golden Dragon Restaurant.
CMAX-NE 2009 brings together Grandmasters, Masters, and senior-level instructors from a wide range of Chinese martial arts styles - all in one fantastic event. In short, CMAX-NE 2009 offers its participants an unparalleled opportunity to explore a magnificent range of Chinese martial arts styles from some of the finest instructors in the US.
You can register online at the CMAX-NE 2009 Event information & registration page or at the door on the day of the event.
Register early and Save $$$! Group discounts may also apply. The registration cost is for the entire day, not per seminar!
