Master Xing Guangzhi

Master Xing Guangzhi began learning Tai Chi as a young boy from his grandfather in his hometown of Harbin, China. He continued to expand his knowledge receiving training in specialized schools for Wu Shu, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong.

Master Xing achieved gold metals at the Chen Style Tai Chi competition in Heilongjiang Province, China, as well as at the Sino-Japan Tai Chi competition, Japan. In China, he received certification as a Qi Gong and Tai Chi instructor. Guangzhi Xing also has a B.A. in physical education from Shenyang, China. With all of his qualifications he was assigned to be a premier coach to a Tai Chi/ Wushu team and helped them win the national championship for three years consecutively.

Master Xing founded the Yin Yang Tai Chi academy here in central Connecticut in 1993. He combines his great knowledge with a sincere desire to share and teach. He offers a wide variety of styles and levels for students to grow and learn.

Seminar: Chen style Taijiquan

In this seminar Master Xing will be teaching various movements and applications from Chen Style Tai Chi Chuan. Chen Style Tai Chi Chuan is the oldest form of Tai Chi in existence. It is from which all the other styles have derived and is a specialty of Master Xing's.
